Damon couldn't get used to being human again. Even with the lack of extra senses, he kept forgetting that he was vulnerable. That he didn't have his vampire speed and reflexes anymore. He went charging off to find the little Disney Princess. Like the hero he always tried to deny that he was. He always refused to acknowledge the good in him. Pushed people away with snark and sass. Easier than actually dealing with them. But, when it actually came down to it. He actually cared about people. And if it was down to him, he was not going to lose anyone during this seal forced nightmare.
He wasn't sure where she was, but he was still fit, so worked his way up, floor by floor. Searching room by room. It was tough going. Every so often, he caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of his eye. But, he never actually saw anything there when he looked. Then, as he reached the fourth floor landing, he saw it. And angel in front of him. He kept his eyes as wide as possible, and watched it as Jemma had said to. He'd been surprised at the authoritiveness in the little scientists voice when she'd told them about the angels. He didn't think she had that sort of attitude in her. He was impressed. Not that he'd let her know that. But, she was friends with Elena, so he planned on looking out for her.
"Little Princess?" He called out, as he kept the angel in sight. "You up here?"
But, as he spoke the lights began to flicker. With each flash the angel moved closer. Damon backed up, wishing he had his normal speed once more. "Damnit!" He growled. "I will not be scared by a statue!" He roared in the face of the angel, as he saw it's teeth right by his face. Just as the light flickered once more, and it touched him,
Then, he was standing in the middle of a street. He looked up at a familiar skyline. "Chicago? Really?" Grumbling, he headed into the city. Wondering how the hell he was going to get by without compulsion. And, hoping that the others were okay.
