Who: Tahiri Veila and Sookie Stackhouse.
Where: Teaching Sookie to meditate
When: September 5th
Rating: TBD
Status: In Progress

Tahiri had set up her room as best she could in preperation for meditation. She'd cleared the floor. Darkened the place just a little bit. Set everything up the way she wanted. If she was going to do this. if she really was going to teach Sookie how to calm her mind and block thoughts then she was going to do it right. She'd focused her own mind as much as she was ever really able to do and posted a note on the board saying for Sookie to come visit.

The girl seemed to need help collecting her thoughts. Making sure she didn't go insane.

It was like Andrea said she supposed. Getting back on track, good deeds. She could never make up for the evil she had done. But just maybe she could start to do good. Maybe it would never balance. But if it didn't then she supposed the plan was keeping trying, maybe forever, as long as she lived. Jacen hadn't had that chance.

Which of course was good. He hadn't deserved it.

No, focus. She had to focus. She had to help Sookie and not focus on everything that happened in her own life. She closed her eyes again and sat, waiting on Sookie to arrive. She'd know as soon as she did.

The door opened on its own almost as soon as Sookie had knocked, as Tahiri looked toward it. The room appeared sparce, spartan might have described it, if Tahiri had known what that was. She sat cross legged in the centre of the floor, or rather a good inch above it. Though as Sookie entered she returned to the floor and stood up.

"You're Sookie" she said softly, eyes not leaving the woman "I'm Tahiri and I'm going to see if I can help you close your mind sometimes. Give you the control of the telepathy. Its easier in a place like this if you have control. You'd eventually just loose your mind otherwise"

It was all said in a very matter of fact tone. It was true, and Tahiri didn't believe in shielding anyone from the truth. Not anymore.

Sookie nodded as she slowly stepped in. As Tahiri continued, she blinked, but then nodded a second time. "Thanks for doing this...back home, it's a lot easier to tune people out. There aren't this many people around at one time. My head's been hurting a lot."

Though lately, she'd started needing Bill to help shut off her mind. His touch could make all the other thoughts go away for a few minutes as she focused on him, and it was always easier to deal with the voices after she'd seen him.

The petite blond shut the door behind her, then slowly walked over. "I've never done anything like meditation before, so I'm not really sure what to expect."

Thanks. Not a phrase Tahiri had heard in quite a while. It felt odd. Like it was meant for someone else and Tahiri looked down awkwardly before looking back to the woman. "Its fine. You shouldn't have to get so overwhelmed. So I'll help however I can."

She sat crosslegged again. "The techniques I'll teach, I admit I haven't heard in a while. I don't...much like the teacher but he was the best at this sort of thing that I've ever seen so I'll teach you the blocking techniques he taught me years back. Sit down, close your eyes, and just try to focus. You won't be able to read me unless I let you and...its probably best for you that you don't see whats in my head."

Sookie smiled a little, then tilted her head as Tahiri said she wouldn't be able to read her. That had happened a few times here, which was very strange. Though apparently, it happened back home with regular humans according to her brother, if Rene really was the one who'd been killing anyone. She hadn't picked up anything from him at all.

She sank down to the floor, crossing her legs, and shut her eyes. "What should I focus on?"
