Gently he brushed some of her hair from her face before resting his hand against her cheek. At her words he looked around at the cemetary and realized, with a start, this was where his Sage had been sucked into Hell. But it was with her words that he realized she didn't remember being here before. Perhaps that was a blessing, that she forgot. Especially in regards to her time in Hell. He pressed his lips to her forehead before he looked down at her.
"You're going to think I'm insane...well more so than what Spirit's already done to me but we're just outside of a town in Lawrence, Kansas. Here's the crazy part. A Biblical Seal pulled us here from our world. Jill, Eddie, Angeline, Buckin-er, Neil...they aren't here." He carefully shifted and dug Hopper out of his pocket and placed him in her hands. "We were here before, you and I. Not long after our date at the Getty Center."
He rested his head against hers and closed his eyes. "Sometimes the Seal sends people back to their worlds and then will bring them here again if it wants. Sometimes with memories of being here before, sometimes without." He shrugged out of his jacket, doing his best to keep her arms around him and draped the jacket over her. He knew they needed to get somewhere safe and sheltered for her with food and clothing but first he had to make sure she was okay enough to move mentally.
