Henrik could already tell that New Orleans was a very different place than Lawrence. It was noisier, busier, but he liked the music that seemed to be playing, and how while there were a lot of people they didn’t seem to be rushing everywhere. They all seemed to be enjoying the city and the music and everything around them. It was nice to see considering the college town he’d been in was pretty go go go if he wasn’t at the park or home.
He turned toward Klaus though when his brother started to speak and nodded, frowning a little at the need to talk about things. There were a number of conversations they could be having and he wasn’t entirely sure which one Klaus would want to focus on. “I think so?”
Henrik moved back inside, not wanting to see the outside world while they had their talk. “Is it about why you don’t talk to the others anymore?” Because that was just weird for him. At least they’d all been civil at the beach but the tension had been there and Henrik wasn’t sure if it would ever go away.
Family didn’t seem to mean the same thing anymore. Not how it had where they were all from.
