They were literally in a whole new world. Scott and Allison had been here for a long time, and so had Lydia before she'd been sent home. Hell, Stiles himself had been in this place for nearly a year now, which was weird to think about. He hadn't seen his dad in almost a year. It hurt to think about, so he did his best not to, because what else could he really do? He was glad that Melissa had shown up. Especially for Scott's sake. He needed her.
Stiles did, too, but that was another thing he really didn't want to think about. Especially not when she was probably pretty upset with him, and he couldn't really blame her for that. Then again, Melissa had known him most of his life, had known that he had a propensity for finding and getting into trouble. At least this time he'd tried not to drag Scott into it. He hoped that earned him some kind of bonus points.
He drew in a breath when she directed him to the chair beside her and he slid into it, wincing at her last statement. "In my defense, it really wasn't as bad as it sounds." He rested his hands on the table.
