He breathed in the scent of her, in his arms. And knew then, that he never wanted to let her go again. But, then she stepped back, and he remembered that they needed to talk.
He gazed into her deep blue eyes, as she smiled nervously at him. He never wanted to see her nervous around him. But, he knew what had happened when he was here before. They were going to get married. So, he understood why things were strange for her. But, it didn't stop it from hurting.
Yet, admitting his true feelings for her, and always been hard. It had always been easier not to. Because where would admitting any of it really lead? To spending the rest of her life with her. Watching her die.
