Pike returned the smile. "Oh, you are perfect!" Sure, occasionally his wallet preferred leafy greens over big meaty meals since the former were usually cheaper, but his stomach was a far more powerful force than his wallet nine times out of ten. This time, his wallet was silent, thanks to the wad of cash in there. And if there was one thing he enjoyed, it was a girl who could actually eat. None of this 'nibbling on stuff and then being full' crap. "Tell me about it. It's pizza. It's supposed to be dripping with melted cheese, grease, and enough meat to clog an artery on the first bite. I still shudder at the idea of tofuburgers." And he certainly did make an unpleasant face at that one.
Pike had the same general thought about the place. Chain pizza was convenient, but authentic pizza was about a thousand times better. He glanced over at her. "How much do you want?" It wasn't an insult. She said she'd been in a coma fairly recently. He wasn't sure if she'd eaten anything yet, and if not he wanted to make sure she got a very good 'just woke up' meal.
