Allison frowned. She really did love Scott and all she wanted was for him to be happy. When he wasn’t she found that she couldn’t be happy, either. Seeing him in the states he’d been in was painful for her, too. If only she could remember her death in Lawrence when she was sent home. Then maybe she could avoid her second death and have a happy life with Scott. She knew it wasn’t possible.
“About what you saw when you were sent home?” She kept his hand in hers. It gave them both something physical to hold onto. Allison only hoped that it made it seem to Scott like he wasn’t going to lose her if he could hold onto her. Of course that wasn’t how the Seal worked. She could have clung to him with all of the desperation in the world, but if the Seal wanted it could just make her vanish into thin air and reappear in Beacon Hills all within the same second.
