Melissa wasn't so sure about mother of the year. Sometims she felt like she struggled with this whole parent thing, other times it felt like she had a hold on it. It wasn't exactly easy to be mother and father to a teenage boy (and don't let anyone tell you any differently). Still no matter what she was glad that her so. Wanted her around because when it all boiled down to it he was all that she had. "Now you're just sucking up aren't you?" And she couldn't help the slightly wry smile that pulled at her lips; a lot of things could be said about Melissa but it would never be that she didn't love her son, she'd do anything for him.
It still felt like there was so much that she didn't know, needed to know, needed to figure out in order to be the best mother possible for Scott, and no matter what she was doing she still felt like she was behind! He was getting to good at making her feel that way between the whole werewolf thing and now dimension hopping.
Hearing him ask about Allison she wasn't sure what to make of the question, so she went for the honest approach. "What about Allison?"
