John's loyalty was with Florence. Forever beside her, whether she was happy or not that didn't mean John would sway. It only meant that bond grew really. He'd dropped everything for her without a second thought. There was no possible way he would let her be alone in this. She'd put up with so much from him when he needed her and ow he was going to do the same for her. He was going t make sure she was all right somehow.
This was his family. He was going to protect it. He was glad Khan was there, though it was strange to him as well. The man was so like Sherlock, even now as he spoke sweet nothings to a hurting child. He had held Florence until she managed to sleep, as she'd often done for him in the past in hopes to give her a little familiar comfort. Only when she did finally rest did he allow her some much needed space to do so as comfortably as possible.
He rubbed his eyes a bit tiredly as he shut the door quietly behind him, and only shook his head as he sat heavily in a chair near by. "Upset, but holding it together for the kid best she can." At this rate he was considering a leave of absence from the hospital to help with Florence and Bo. He wouldn't even have that job if not for her. Hell, he might not have even had his life if not for her.
