"I'm sure we could always find something happening in Kansas City." He shrugged. It was a big city, there were bound to be demons or monsters running around causing trouble. Or just plain old terrible examples of humanity. He was pretty sure that no one would miss a stray rapist if they came across one.
He nodded quietly at the response. He knew all too well the need of not thinking. Especially lately. Lately, it was all he specifically did not want to do. He had worse luck with that than Rebekah tended to because she was so perfect at compartmentalizing everything, pushing it down, and focusing on other things. Kol wasn't. Kol was very much all feeling and reactions. He didn't tend to push anything down or think much before he did something. Which was why people jumped down his throat for so many things.
