Rebekah didn't miss the way Kol looked away, focused on the ground, rather than actually address the potential Purgatory issue. So as much as a part of her wanted to push the topic, keep going, do something to try to fix it, if only because she wanted to do something good that day, she dropped it. Because that would just have to happen later. But it would happen, she would be damned if she let Kol go through any more hurt.
