"I dunno," he mumbled in response to her question, eyes no longer on her, but studying the ground at the mention of Purgatory. He hated all of it. And he wasn't sure how to fix it, considering so far, he'd not come up with much that could help the situation basically at all. So instead, he'd rather just avoid thinking about it at all for the time being.
Kol shrugged a bit at her suggestions. He didn't particularly care any more than she did, but something had to be decided. And alcohol just...didn't feel like it'd cover it. "Let's just go hunting."
He started walking away from the Mikaelson property, knowing she'd follow. "D'ya wanna talk about any of it?" he asked, glancing over at her. He didn't have to specify. He knew Stefan hadn't reacted favorably. But then, Stefan hadn't thought the rest of the family had either. Despite their legitimate reasons for their reactions. That was what Kol was so incredibly tired of. Everyone could have their hatred and their feuds, but the second his family made comment of their own, it was the worst sin in recent history. The sheer hypocrisy of it all grated on his nerves.
