Strangely enough in the last few months he'd gotten used to places like this, easy prey. Easy recruits if they went an evening without annoying him. If he was unapproachable now it was simply because being somewhere like this had memories for him. A part of him anyway. Oh it was easy to fall into the instincts, even if he didn't have the power to back it up anymore. Damon of course did, and Hal took the oppertunity to look away from the little display and take in the room around them. Suspicious he could spot a mile away, and the twenty something with the ridiculous hair watching Damon and the girl, now that was supicious enough.
"Damon, left" he said, barely at a whisper, knowing the vampire would hear. Of course he would. Hal would have once.
He stepped back slightly, keeping an eye on the man, wondering if he'd cross a person's path and become someone else. Just watching for something, anything. But already he knew his movements weren't what they would have been a few months ago. He'd done this for a woman that no longer loved him and for a world that no longer cared, and he wondered just for a moment, ultimately, what was the point?
