Olivia was still at a very large loss of what to do with herself in this place. She just sort of muddled through and coasted along in a 'going through the motions' sort of way any more and just hoped no one noticed. Mostly, they didn't. But that was probably because mostly, she had kept to herself. More so than she had ever done in her life, if she were honest.
She was wandering the the huge house Peter had bought for them when she heard a laugh. Not just any laugh, though. Her son's laugh. And it wasn't the botched fake thing she'd heard from him so many times. He had been through so much, she wondered sometimes if he'd make it out to the other side of it all. But then this. This was sheer joy. It made her curious.
So she stood in the doorway of the practice room and watched as he created a lily from thin air and moments later, shiny, glowing particles rained down in the room like snow. The moment was so utterly perfect that she didn't really want to say anything to break it, but at the same time, she wanted to just share in that moment with him. A smile firmly in place, Olivia spoke up finally. "It's beautiful, Peter."
