Robin could not have been more happy with the wish that Marian had made. And despite her joking, he knew it had been for him. And showing her the crib Dan Scarlett had built when he was born had been an amazing moment. Made even more perfect when he had felt their child kick. That had made it even more incredibly real than it already had been. Now all he needed to worry about was Much. Something was troubling his friend, and he knew it went beyond concerns about picking a room for himself. Sometimes, what was bothering Much was easy to figure out. The cold, the lack of food. The uncomfortable beds in camp. The forest. The desert. It could go on and on and on. But this time, Robin knew it was a bit more complicated.
Conveniently, when he walked through from the lounge, it was Much he found there, standing by the stairs and looking far too serious. Luckily, he knew just how to cheer his friend up when he was letting his mood get the better of him. And it was usually fairly simple. Walking over to stand beside him, he clapped a hand on his shoulder.
"So, have you picked a room yet, or am I going to have to help you make a decision?"
