"Exactly as you left it," she confirmed, but her words were probably only half heard because he was already taking off. By the time he returned, he was glowing like a child on a holiday. And trying to get her out of bed. Well. He wasn't perfect. "Why can't I?" she protested, though she was already pulling the covers off to follow on whatever adventure he was planning. "I need my rest and I'm sleeping for two and more reasons I'll think of later."
She took his hand in hers, giving it a squeeze as she did. Leaning into his side for a quick nuzzle, she allowed herself to be led down the hallway.
"Of course I kept the bathrooms," she said with a smirk. "We'll also have to get new TVs and things, likely, but I did ask for electricity." Good thing they had plenty of money now. She hadn't really thought about all of that, losing so many of the things they'd grown used to in this world. Oops. Good thing her wish had come second.
