There was sitting down and everything now? Okay, now things seemed really serious. So Gavroche sat, legs curled up under him, staring wide-eyed at Enjolras as he listened.
Of course he had noticed the changes. The boy actually smirked a little at the very notion that he hadn't. His sister was much happier, for starters. That wary edge she'd always had gone. Now she smiled and laughed and seemed to actually sing under her breath from time to time. It was good to see. She deserved it, and to be free from those jokes of parents of theirs.
"I did notice," he nodded with a pointed smirk. "Lots of things seem different now, though Mister Kol showed me some stuff and that he was pretty nice and gave me cake." The technology was the big thing, of course, and Kol had shown him the message boards even if he hadn't been able to understand a word of it. But it seemed Enjolras was talking about something else.
"But you're still you." Gavroche frowned with confusion. "You're still Enjolras and that's a good thing. Even without the Revolution. You haven't changed that much. But you do smile more. Which is weird. But a good weird." The frown shifted into becoming a sly smile. "You smile at my sister."
