Alex couldn't resist rolling her eyes slightly. Kol had been a friend to her when most hadn't bothered, and she trusted him. Kol, Lexi. The only contact she had had for weeks. Compulsion was dangerous, she knew that. But she also had faith in those two to not abuse it.
"You've been beyond cruel," her voice was soft, and she couldn't meet his eyes for a moment before she made herself look up. "I've seen it twice now. And maybe it's not the worst you've been, but it was enough, so yes, you need to make amends. You also deserve to have a life, Hal. A human life, the chance to be happy. This is a really good two-in-one deal, if you think about it."
She was worried too, about the wishes backfiring, but talking with the others, with Elijah, had helped. "You say it clearly, that you want to be human, with the memories of everything you've done, been through. To be the man you are, and human." She hoped similar wording would help with her wish, to avoid the complications.
"Yeah, you have to go first. You know why, you know I can't risk being human and you chickening out." Alex offered him a small smile. "I want to live again, Hal. I promise, I'm going to make the wish. I'm going to be human. We can be human, together."
