Jessica had been keeping to herself lately. The aftermath of the battle and rescuing everyone from the cage was neverending. That much she could tell when she did go online. She had long since acquired her own personal laptop to be used. Using public computers had only lasted but so long. Especially for a girl - vampire - that was used to having pretty much what she wanted, when she wanted it. Her house currently left very little to be desired; on the outside that is. Inside she had spruced up the place with somewhat fancy decor that reminded her a little of home.
Being the progeny of the King of Louisiana had always had it perks. Till shit had begun happening again. But that was all in her past and in another universe. The young vampire had long accepted never seeing any of her friends again. Sure, there was still a chance, but there was no sense in driving herself crazy with hope that it would happen. Bill, Tara, Willa and even Pam would want her to stop whining and keep on living. So that's what she was going to do. Starting with planning a party for Saint Patrick's Day. She and Isabel had somehow managed to overlook Valentine's Day and now was the time to make up for it.
As she continued with her walk, Jessica tossed ideas in her head around. Her laptop had several pages bookmarked for ideas. But it couldn't hurt to come up with more. Just as she was walking past a house her heightened sense of hearing picked up the sound of crinkling foil or plastic of some kind. Glancing in the direction she heard it come from Jessica saw a familiar house. It was the manor Sidney lived at. Along with others. She had only been here once before and in the last couple of weeks hadn't even checked on any of its residents. Most of whom had spent time in the cage. Some friend she was turning out to be.
Changing her path Jessica walked up to the house and let herself in calling out for anyone. Announcing her presence would hopefully save her from being shot at or worse. She could hear the heartbeat of someone in the kitchen so she headed towards it. As she entered Jess said, "Sidney, it's me Jessica, I'm not gointa hurt ya or anythin.' I just thought I'd check up on ya and see how ya'll were doing."
