Kon had been fortunate in that area. Clark hadn't ever told him he wasn't allowed, but had told him he needed to be careful around any company he chose. That was why he liked Kansas, he didn't have to be as careful. He was free to just be himself. He didn't have to hide who he was or watch over his shoulder at the friends he made to worry about them. He would always worry, but it wasn't going to be because his secret was exposed. He had no secrets. For the first time in his life he had nothing to hide or be ashamed of, and it showed. His confidence after being blinded had been rocked a little, but he was regaining it back bit by bit.
This was helping too. Closeness with another person. Nobody had touched him like this since Allana. He hadn't let anyone in since she left. He was tired of being hurt by the seal or by other circumstances that came with having a relationship of any kind. He sucked at being social lately too, but he was trying to change it. Tim was going to help there. Tim needed more social help then he did, if he let him he knew the teen would hide away in that bat cave the others left behind.
"Not cute." He commented to him about being called weird. "At least I don't hang on rooftops for a good time." He teased him back and shivered some at the touch, grasping his hand that dared. "I'm insulted. Like I planned this.." The tiniest smirk as he toyed with his fingers before letting it under his hoodie. "Sure. Lets go with that though. I'm super good at plans." He snickered, his plans always ended horribly really. He tilted his head some toward the touch of his fingers. "Yeah, there is a contest though. Last year it's how I got the job at the paper. I won a few internet contests and a school contest. And then they fired me during the apocalypse." He shrugged a bit. It still bothered him, but what could he do?
