With Kili safe and healing. Tauriel knew she needed to go after Legolas to help him hunt down the orcs. But she was still hesitant to leave him. He had been close to Death's door and she worried still. She wanted him to keep his promise to his mother that he would return to her alive. But she had a duty as the Captain of the Mirkwood guard to help Legolas and keep him safe. He was her friend and the prince after all and he had only followed her because she had left the Woodland Realm against Thranduil's orders.
Gathering her weapons back up she started for the door of Bard's house when the world suddenly shifted and she felt the pull of powerful magic. Her vision swam and she tugged her bow and an arrow free as the world shifted. Once it stopped she had her bow drawn and aimed around, looking for any sign of a threat but found none. She lowered the bow but did not drop her guard. The snow and cold being kicked up barely phased her and she looked around. Her keen Elven eyes quickly found Legolas and she smiled a little though frowned when she began noticing things. His garb was different and he was a bit scuffed up as if he had been in a big fight. More than that though, his bow was not one of Mirkwood but of another Elven realm...perhaps Lothlorien?
She would get answers but of all those here, Legolas was the one she trusted. She moved quickly to his side, walking easily atop the snow thanks to what she was. As Legolas headed towards the town she could also see, she looked around, wary for any threats that could fall upon them.
"Were you successful in hunting the orcs down in Laketown?" she asked in Elvish, glancing over at him. Something was...different about him. His eyes looked...older...
