I'll be doing a few subheaders. Pre fight, Battle, Hellbound and Aftermath. Tag into any of these and if you want another subthread made ask me or MJ so it looks all tidy and whatnot.

I'm also gonna suggest cutting comms from the battle to the aftermath down to bare mimimum communications while the main battle threads go on to keep it a little bit real time. If you have to for time constraint reasons please mark it post battle

Battle - Hook and Belle, because hilarity

Oh, good. Belle did know the exorcism. As she chanted along, Hook was able to, at the very least, take relief that there was a small chance that this whole distraction bit was going to fall into his favor. He drew his sword and lashed out at the demon that he had lured off. It was an unexpected gesture. The demon had anticipated guns and knives; he didn't think that he would be battling a pirate with a blade. Demons, though, they had ways around that. It threw an arm at him and Hook catapulted backward, leaving him to unceremoniously crash into a headstone.

The demon didn't get the opportunity to advance. Belle's words had taken a hold on him. He jerked about violently, black eyes wide and filled with desperation, until the very moment in which a great smoke poured from his mouth and sent the body that he had been possessing crumbling to the ground. With a bit of aid from the headstone he'd tumbled into, Hook stood and eyed the waking man with an undeniable air of satisfaction. And what of the demon that Belle had been left with?

Also exorcised. Two down. An entire army more to go.

Belle spoke and, to Hook's surprise, her words carried no venom. That didn't mean he wasn't allowed to be smug about the fact that he had just saved the Dark One's love, of course, but it was rather pleasing to know that Belle was capable of looking at him without a sneer on her face.

"Probably not," Hook agreed, "they had you good and cornered." Humble? Him? Always. "Do me a favor and try to avoid dying. If Rumplestiltskin does ever choose to make an appearance here, I wouldn't want him to feel that I was the one responsible for your untimely demise."

Actually, part of him would be relatively okay with that. Anything that was capable of getting through that thick skin of his crocodile was all too tempting for Hook to ignore. Yet he wasn't heartless. A villain he may have been, but he only targeted people when it was necessary to. Belle's involvement in all things past as far as his war against Rumplestiltskin was concerned wasn't personal. He would do her no harm, nor would he willingly see to it that anyone else did, so long as he had no reason to. And with a truce in order? Belle had nothing to worry about.

They made a worryingly good team. She didn't like it. But there it was. And he had saved her. He'd gone out of his way in fact, and maybe it was a power play, maybe it was so if Rumple did come back then Hook could use the fact he'd saved her against him somehow. Or maybe he actually did change. For whatever reason there might be.

"I'll tell him what you did here. He won't trust you any more than I expect you'd trust him in the same situation but he'll know that you did something here that you had no reason to do. No agenda, beyond perhaps impressing a woman you will never stop caring for. But you did save my life and so perhaps things are different now, perhaps you're different by now. I won't hound you any longer if you continue to hold to the truce."

For now though there was more.

"Left, over there, there's more." she said simply as more demons began to gather. Belle nodded and began the exorcism. They made a good team overall
