It was Kon, looking a little more worn for wear but it was still him. He was tired from lack of sleep and worry, but he was ready to go. He didn't care what the risks were. He knew he had a weakness to all things magic, especially Heavenly magic, but he didn't care. He would rather risk finding the grace and saving the lot of them from their literal nightmare than potentially creating a physical one for everyone. He couldn't even be too angry with the way Jacen had reacted, he could only imagine what lie deep with in that mans nightmares after all the things he'd said he'd done. It must have been tiring him too. Even if this once again put him at great risk, Kon didn't hesitate to help. That was what he wanted, and the life he wanted to maintain. He didn't want the nightmare him to come true. The one who destroyed the city and left no one standing. Not even a heart beat of a single creature.
He wanted to be Kon-El Kent, the one who cared about humanity and the beings that he shared it with. Be them human or otherwise. He wanted a world with his family, a chance to remain with them and this was the best way he saw to do it by. He knew Clark wasn't going to be thrilled, and Lois was even less so but if he coud prevent more loss he would. He'd lost enough in this war already. So many friends come and gone by ways of seal or death. He was tired and he didn't want to add more physical exhaustion ontop of the mental for everyone. If that happened there was no way they stood a chance against Lucifer.
This was the lesser evil. The road he chose and it would be nobody elses choice. No matter how careful his family warned him to be or how scared he should have been, he just didn't have those emotions anymore. They were slowly being taken over by exhaustion and if it was wearing no him he could only imagine his friends. Robin specifically, the man had such patience and he could only imagine it was because of things that'd happened in his life time. Horrible things that made the rest of what happened in the world seem like a dim light. His family, who now woke at odd hours of the night. And deserved if anything space in their own home to feel safe. "Lets get this over with." He said a little more grouchy than he meant to sound as he rubbed his eyes and began to hove once he stopped out of Casa de Zee.
He reached down for Cas's hands. "Hold on, don't puke, etc etc." He said half heartedly compare to the first time he ever flew Cas anywhere. Once Cas grabbed hold, they were off to Van Nuys. Landing in a relatively unpopulated area within a few minutes flight time. Everything to Cas would have looked like a blur, Kon wasn't one for sight seeing. The landing was a little rougher than he anticipated though, he stumbled and fell with him instead rather than a smooth touch down in that empty field.
"Ow." He grumbled as he sat up, looking over at the former angel. "Sorry. Any idea where to start?"
