It had been one week. One week since the intense pain of the old one slowly killing her had suddenly ended and she'd come to on someone's lawn in Lawrence. The lawn of an older woman who was pretty rude, threatening to call the police if she didn't get off her lawn. Even the skeezy motel owner had asked her if she was all right and let her use his computer when asked. One week had been an improvement. She'd found people she knew and wasn't only still alive, but healthy as well.

Now that she had taken the time to adjust to her surroundings, it was time to find out a little more about where she'd ended up. Even a few books or notes would be a big help, as from what she'd heard, this place wasn't exactly like the supernatural she was used to. It was at once daunting and intriguing.

And who better to pick the brain of then Andrew? She'd met the watcher only once but he seemed to know his stuff, as well as speak the geek language fluently. It took her a few minutes to locate his office, peeking around the open door and knocking gently to announce her presence. "Hey."

Andrew chuckled a bit at that, shrugging. "Hey, sometimes you've got to take a break from real demons and stuff and just visit Green Lantern or something," he said with a smile. "I mean, okay. It's probably just a matter of time before we really get to visit him here in the real life of this place, especially since we've already got so many other superheroes living in this building, and at least one more living elsewhere, but still."

"Thanks though." He was glad that Fred didn't seem the type to try to make fun of him for being a big ol' nerdo, not that it would have phased him even if she did, after all. Andrew had gotten used to that sort of thing a long time ago. "I figured that since I spend a lot of time in here I should try and make it me-like. I want to get a couple of posters, but I've been waiting for just the right ones to catch my eye."

"It's a possibility," Fred stated, mostly serious. "If Superman and Spiderman are here, who knows who could show up next? And that includes the villians, so reading up is kind of like researching anyway because then you'll be prepared in the case that it does happen." Her nose wrinkled up. "Although that's probably one of those things you don't want to hear because it could take something fun and turn it into a job."

There was more to that thought but she cut herself off before she continued on and rambled Andrew's ear off. That wasn't quite the second meeting impression she wanted to make. "You're welcome. It does look very you-like though. Not at all institutional, you know? You'll find that perfect poster to put up."
