"Teasing," he pointed out, shaking his head slightly when he saw that damn pout still on the other's face.
"At least we're on the same page," he mumbled. This was all so weird and different and he didn't know how to handle it. He had rarely gone back to someone for a night more than once. This was even more than that and he didn't know what to make of it, really. And he didn't exactly have shining examples of these things around him. Bekah with her failed relationships, admittedly largely due to Nik's involvement. Elijah with his hopeless sap....thing with Katherine. Even Nik was in over his head with someone who had been in on plans to kill them before. Nevermind the beacon of disaster that had been Esther and Mikael. Nope. Not a single healthy relationship he could even try to draw from.
"My definition of what constitutes as bad isn't exactly conventional." Kol was even willing to wager that the majority of whatever Crowley had done in his demonhood would fall into an area of approval in his book anyway. "Yeah...complicated." Even that didn't seem to fully capture it. "I can promise I'm looking for other options." he hadn't even thought about the way that was worded. Actively looking. Not future tense in the event of something happening. If he'd noticed, Kol would have been expanding on it, giving some kind of justification of that set choice of words, but as it were, he was mostly just too damn wrapped in his own head to notice it.
