Marian's hands on Much's shoulders were what shook him from his stupor. Seeing that it wasn't just him. No. This was real. The seal had done whatever it did, and in this instance Robin was not going to question it. His friend was back. He crossed the distance between them without thinking about it, and as soon as Marian had moved away from him, Robin's arms went around his friend, pulling him close in an embrace filled with all the relief that had replaced the hopelessness he had felt in his friends absence. His fingers clung to the shoulder of Much's shirt as he revelled in the fact that he was here. His friend was here and he felt that he could breathe again. It wasn't until he was gone that Robin realised just how much he needed him. Marian was his love, his life. But Much was his brother. More than a brother. What he shared with Much he shared with no one else and he knew he never would. And that didn't just come from the experiences they had shared. He doubted he could explain it if anyone asked.
"Don't ever do that again." He spoke quietly before pulling back, his eyes passing over his friends face. He was okay. No evidence of the damage done to his body which had ended his life. The only thing missing was his hat, which was safely back in their room at Eponine's inn, and his outlaw tag, which Robin wore around his own neck.
