The two of them could pathetically stare at each other if they wanted. Marian, however, wasn't a man, wasn't haunted by beings from the past, and wasn't afraid to show her feelings.
Usually.
But she released Robin's hand, her mouth open in a gaping expression of surprise. And then she did the only thing that made any sense to her. She rushed towards Much, her hands immediately reaching for his. "Much!"
There could be no more questioning from Robin whether what he was seeing was real, at least. She squeezed her friends hands in hers before touching his face, his shoulders, looking him over worriedly. He was fine. He was perfectly fine. As if he'd never been hurt.
The Seal had done it before, of course. It had brought Lydia back when they'd thought her gone, and then more recently, it had brought Caroline back to them, too. But to see it again, knowing how long it had been and how hurt they'd all been...
She did the only thing she could think of. Despite what he'd been through, she wrapped her arms around him and held him tightly. "It's really you..." And then she stepped back. Because she knew her husband and she knew sometimes he had trouble expressing himself. But now? Now he needed to be with his friend. Their family was whole again.
