Who: Neville Longbottom and OPEN What: Neville still doesn't like Lawrence. So he's looking at plants. When: Monday afternoon. Where: A nearby park with a small wooded area. Rating: I dunno who's jumping in, so TBD.
Neville still wasn't the biggest fan of Lawrence, or of this world in general. Sure, on the one hand there were no leftover Death Eaters to track down, no dark wizards that he'd ever heard about, but on the other hand there were demons, not that he'd ever met one himself. Oh, and things like cars and microwaves. He didn't understand those sorts of things very well. He was learning though.
But one thing Neville did understand was plants. In school, he had top marks in Herbology, and not only that, but he enjoyed it. Plants didn't question (or, most of them didn't), they didn't change all that much. You just had to know the facts about them, the good and the bad, what you could use them for, that sort of thing. And while Neville specialized more in the vein of magic plants, he did know a fair bit about the ones that were commonly found out in the open in the muggle world. One thing that amused him was that muggles didn't realize that some of the plants they were used to were great for various things in magic.
He had decided to go to a nearby park, one with a small wooded section with lots of trees and undergrowth. As he made his way across the grassy part of the park in a bee-line for the trees, he knew better than to expect that he would find anything out of the muggle-ordinary there. But he could still look amongst the underbrush, he might get lucky, there might be something there that would be of interest to him.
