Kon had been rushing in and out of the building with people and things and pets and whatever else he could grab. Jacen was holding the building up, but they didn't have long. There was no time to stop and chat, no time for breaks or mourning of losses. Just movement and action. Kon was built to be a weapon, but weapons could also be used for good, and that was what he was determined to be. A force of good.
He was going to try his damndest to ignore the voices in his head that said to maim and murder those at fault, that said to choke the life out of whatever being deserved it next. He was going to cherish life, all life. That was what Connor and Clark would have wanted. So he kept up with Clark, who had likely by now gone to help with Stark Towers while Kon handled the complex round ups.
He heard a voice thanks to his super hearing from the sky and spotted the girl on the roof. He didn't take time to stop and chat with her, but she would have felt a not so gentle arm pick her up like she weighed the same amount as a football and drop her near the medical tent. Not literally drop, but not exactly being tender either. He was aware of injuries, but he didn't have time to coddle. He had to get back to the complex, so all he said was "Get checked out, you'll be fine now." Before speeding off yet again. In the blink of an eye he was nothing but a blur.
