WHO: Crowley and Kol WHAT: One is no longer possessed, the other isn't going back to hell, clearly they need to celebrate. WHEN: After Kol's post. WHERE: One of Crowley's mansions. The main one he uses! RATING: Probably high, it's a demon and an emotionless vampire. STATUS: In Progress [Cut text: 'Sympathy for the Devil' by Rolling Stones]
It was both interesting and annoying, the thoughts running through Crowley's mind as he sat with his glass of scotch, stretched out as he was on an incredibly comfortable couch, staring at the way the light reflected on the crystal glass and amber liquid, a second glass ready and waiting on the table. Decadence and wealth, did help a lot with the musing at life in general. He had even sent away the other demons who worked for him, both those kept in the dark as to his true intentions and those very few who were actually loyal to him. Simply Crowley, his favorite of his hellhounds, his scotch and his thoughts.
When he has worked out that the vampire he had been bedding was possessed, two thoughts occurred to him. One, the expected one, the most obvious and of course the most self serving, whether or not the demon would report back to Hell and Lucifer exactly what Crowley was doing. The Crossroads King was under no illusions, if Lucifer found out his double agent status, he would be back on the rack and screaming for all eternity, regardless of what happened in this damned Apocalypse. And really, he did not want that for himself. Not at all. He had ambitions, being horribly horribly tortured again was not one of them.
But then there had been the second thought, one which had verged dangerously close to concern for Kol's well-being. That had caused the demon to be both annoyed with himself and disconcerted. Caring was not something that was supposed to happen. He had come dangerously close before, with Anna, and briefly he wondered what had happened to the redheaded angel. Ruby was different, he liked her and maybe sort of cared, but he had certainly never slept with her. And baby Emily was kind of cute, but that didn't mean Crowley cared.
But Kol. Crowley found himself actually hoping that they'd get the demon out of him without killing him.
Purely because he was pretty, obviously.
Now, it seemed, he was emotionless. And Crowley wasn't sure what to make of that yet. Lexi, in all her GIF and video trolling, and annoyingly perky and hopeful ways, seemed to think it was a bad thing. And, okay, she was clearly an irritant in Crowley's life because he was willing to potentially listen to that. But really, he wanted to find out for himself. Find out if the vampire who relished in hedonism as much as he himself did was still the same man he'd first been drawn to.
Or if he was something better.
Or maybe something worse.
But that did not mean he cared. It was simply curiosity, nothing more.
