Lots of empty rooms? That sounded good. He'd probably have to duck and contort his body into odd shapes to get in the door, but it was a hell of a lot better than living on the street. Cain wished he knew some way to contact The Brotherhood, or even better Magneto, but he knew his limitations and knew he was nowhere near smart enough to figure that one out. He could only hope one of the smarter, more tolerable X-Men would show up to get them both back to their own world. Not that he minded not being on a one-way ticket to SHIELD incarceration.
He pushed all that from his mind. Right now, he had two simple priorities. "The board's pretty good, too," he told her, putting just a little emphasis on that last word, giving her his own little wink. "But I'm more focused on the board's rider." When in doubt, he obvious. That was Cain's motto.
Cain just chuckled in response to her question. "Yeah," he told her, stuffing his free hand into one of the large front pockets on his pajama pants. "Yeah, I trust you not to lead me into certain doom." The truth was, there wasn't really a whole lot that could take him out. He'd already discounted the possibility of Weapon X, and that meant the only people that could really take him out were the X-Men or a whole bunch of SHIELD guys. Which she claimed weren't here, and even if they were, he stood at least an average chance of taking them out. So yeah, he was pretty sure.
