Yeah, this was sounding more and more ridiculous by the minute. The whole space/time continuum being wonky was something that Cain wasn't really used to. Still, he had proof enough that it was true clutched in one of his huge hands. Even he couldn't deny the dates in the paper.
"Ancient history, huh? Must have been a shock." He was a couple years in the future, but that wasn't important. Cain was far more interested in hearing more about Shay. And what was going on, but mostly more about her. "I'd say it sounds crazy, but..." He waved the paper a little. He also didn't bother asking if anyone had figured out a way to fix this. He figured if they had, nobody would be in this situation anymore. "So how's the past treating you, Shay?" Of course, with the plethora of other questions he could have asked, that's what he chose.
