She stiffened visibly when he leaned in so close to her, his breath against her ear and her neck made her shudder. "Maybe time is all I need." she muttered before Lord Harry was gone again, replaced by Hal once again. She almost foolishly hoped he'd say something against it all, but the denial, the refusal didn't come.

"Ten seconds." she nodded. She could do that. Katherine shook her head, "You can't, not there. Elijah, Regina...they'd see." And that was the last thing either of them needed in this situation. Her boyfriend or her best friend, either one would fly off the handle if they had any suspicions at all and that would only end badly for everyone involved.
