Well that was disappointing, and boring. Katherine had no sense of drama. And she wanted her friend. And Lord Harry wasn't quite in control yet. Oh it was coming and he knew it. Hal knew it too much as he did not under any circumstance want to admit it. Which was adorable given circumstances. But fine, she wanted Hal she'd get him.
"You and me Katherine, we're not done." he told her, leaning in, ignoring any concept of personal space. His breath hot at her ear as he spoke. "You truly believe you can save him, you can't. All you are doing is biding time before the inevitable happens. Just you wait."
And with that, another splutter, a cough and it was her friend again. Hal, scared, confused, hurting inside more than anything but resolute in the fact that this had to happen. He could keep that other him at bay. He could fight this. But he needed, he had to have blood to do it. "Look, it'll be quick. You give me ten seconds. You count it, and then you make sure you pull away if I don't. That'll be enough for...for a while. And then there's where I can...The neck, is that too obvious for...I don't know how I'm doing this. I'm sorry Katherine."
