Hel did not look particularly well when Katherine opened the door to him. Oh he wasn't shaking yet or anything but it had already been a few hours since the vial. And it was such a small thing, such a simple little sample of blood and it had been enough to shake things. He could feel it now, his control and his focus slipping from him. He wasn't Harry. He knew that much. But god...if he was forced to do without. He knew it wouldn't be long. But that of course was why he was here.
Oddly, Katherine Pierce brought it out in him, that other him. Alex's jealousy of Katherine had had some basis in fact. Oh he could never love her, Alex had his heart so completely, but Lord Harry found her fascinating. Exactly the kind of woman he had so much fun breaking. Like Mary, like Catherine the werewolf leader, like so many in his past. Spirited woman, simpering fools, he'd had them all, but the ones that endured...
"Its a hell of a thing...control. Needing it, keeping it." he began, noting several mistakes in the room, little things out of place, picture frame a few inches askew. Things that he supposed normal people didn't think about. And immediately he moved past her and started trying to create order.
Order was focus.
"Blood Katherine. Most specifically yours. You see it hasn't worked, the abstinence. But what does, what most definitely does work is taking a little. Just enough to get by, just now and again. I've discovered it keeps him at bay you see. Keeps him locked down, sated, so that he may not threaten me. And I think very much that you should be the one to aid me in this endevour. Who better? Besides you owe me don't you?"
Human now, Hal could almost taste the blood, sense it, smell it. He could see the veins he'd want.
He sighed, leaning finally against the back of a sofa. "Its the only way."
