Felicia Hardy was ridiculous and she knew she was ridiculous. It was the same thing over again, she was falling for Tony Stark and falling hard, had been for a long time now and still neither of them were willing to admit just how much. Oh she'd known going in what he was like, and more importantly what she was like, but between how dammed laid back he was and how...not, that she was, not to mention all of their relationship issues it was a miricle there hadn't been any dramatic public shouting matches yet. Weirdly they worked but sometimes, just sometimes, Felicia Hardy wanted more.

Not that waking up beside him didn't feel amazing. It did. But it would help if there'd been a bed instead of...goddammit the office? It came back to her, there had been a meeting, then there had been drinks with the people at the meeting, then there had been wine and talking and joking and Tony being ridiculously charming. He'd actually gotten out of the lab for this one and everything and not sent the double. Mostly she suspected because of the promise of the afformentioned booze. But she wasn't gonna argue.

She leaned in, streaching her back and sighed.

"Okay so this, was not planned. You should get up and go to the lab before I look ridiculous. I do have work and stuff you know!" Her head hurt. All the hurt. "...first though coffee, need it to live Tony."

Normal couples probably didn't wake up hungover in fancy offices. But between the two of them she was pretty sure normal didn't exist. from the little she remembered of the previous night though she had enjoyed it immensely and was hoping he had too. Leaning across, streaching her side now, she managed to steal a kiss. "Seems like a while since we went out like that, properly I mean and I'm also fairly sure we closed the deal on that contract. Mostly of course because I'm clearly amazing."

There was a piece of paper stuck to his face. With the exception of the beautiful woman curled up at his side, that was the first thing that Tony Stark noticed when he woke. Paper. Face. Stuck. Wincing at the shooting, sharp pain that had been attacking his skull from the very moment in which he decided to open his eyes, Tony slapped a hand to his face and grabbed at the sheet attached to his forehead. A squint at the first row of jumbled numbers immediately informed him that it was preparations for the Johnson meeting he was due to attend at...some point. In the future. Or was he supposed to be at that one yesterday morning? Tony shrugged, tossed the paper aside, and replaced the spot that the paper had been clinging to with his hand. Days and nights of hungover experience told him that rubbing at his head wouldn't make the throbbing go away, but he was a stubborn man. He did it anyway.

"Not planned for you," Tony retorted, "I knew exactly where I was going to wake up this morning." He smirked in spite of himself and arched a brow at her hasty suggestion. "You work for me. I'm your boss. Your boss says that you should stay a while. Enjoy the fine comforts of -" He paused. There wasn't much flair he could put into the floor of his office, even if it was on the relatively exquisite side. "- me." Him. Yeah, sure. That worked.

Tony sat upright and shifted his hand to the back of his head. Nope. Still not helping the hangover. Coffee, as per Felicia's suggestion, however...

But then she got all serious. Started talking about going out. Properly. He knew that he should have been taking her out more and giving her the attention that she deserved, but Tony had so easily lost track of time. There was so much to do. So many people to do it for. How could he really savor being with the person he cared about if he wasn't absolutely certain that she was protected? He didn't comment on the first part and instead chose to keep at the more fun part of their conversation. "We closed that deal because they all saw how quality of a businesswoman you are," Tony commented proudly. He dropped his gaze. "And cleavage. They saw cleavage."

She couldn't help it, she laughed.

"The fine comforts of you?" Felicia was pretty sure that was what she had spent the previous night doing but she wasn't going to deny it was nice waking up next to him even if a bed would be preferable. Especially her bed. It was fancy and had Egyptian Cotton and was generally amazing. Not to mention whatever coffee Tony brought her would be greatly inferior to her coffee. Oh her amazing amazing coffee.

"So your plan actually involved sealing an amazing contract, getting me stupidly, stupidly drunk and waking up with me on the floor of your office." She remembered flashes of the past few hours. Discussions of boardrooms and the things one could do in boardrooms when one owned the company. She swore, if her bra was on the projector she might actually hit him. Hangover and all. "That said" she added, "If my boss truly feels he needs me to hang around for another while, I really shouldn't argue. Model employee that I am."

He was avoiding, and she knew he was avoiding. But just this once she was going to let him. She was gonna lie there for a few more minutes and then consider if coffee should be a thing.

"I'm an amazing business woman. And since I basically did funding for everything ever to do with the Hardy Foundation you are very very lucky to have me. I could be being headhunted by most of the tech firms in the top 100 right now but no, I stay here. Someone said the job came with perks."

Not that she would admit it but her clevage did tend to play a big part in her negotiations. The logic of course, if you had it, flaunt it. And she did so enjoy flaunting it.
