"You should get some sleep." Sam ended up pulling a book up out of his bag. Nothing special. Just a book on the study of different religions and strange things that had happened within them. Sam had been looking for signs of demonic presences within history itself, but he hadn't had much time to do so lately. It was sort of a side hobby, one that he had taken up only recently. A way to relax. If one would call that relaxing. He didn't open the book though. Right now, Sam was pretty sure he didn't have the attention span to read any of it. "We're gonna stay here a couple days. Move out...somewhere else after. You'll need to rest." Because Sam damn well didn't know what was going to happen next. He'd have both friend and enemy hunting her down and he didn't know if he could take them all on just to protect her. Sam didn't even know if he'd be able to try if and when they did.
"And, yeah, you are talking too much. I don't know what to do here, Ruby. Talking? It's not gonna fix what you've been doing for...for however long you've been doing it." The entire time, obviously. Fuck, he couldn't even give himself that, could he? That maybe Lilith had done something to pull her over halfway through. Something bad. Blackmail? No, Ruby had said it was something else. Azazel. Sam bit down on his lip, doing all he could to keep himself from freaking out on Ruby all over again. There really wasn't much more to be discussed, was there?
Discussion. Maybe if Sam convinced the others that they'd need Ruby for information...Sam wasn't even sure that would work. "Just get some rest." He shoved the book back into the bag and tossed it onto the floor, rubbing at his eyes wearily. He was tired. Emotionally and physically. He'd have to check back up on Dean later, too. Fuck. Dean wasn't going to like this.
