"Oh, all right, you caught me," he said, an amused, joking tone to his voice. "I've gone and got a soft spot for you or something." he laughed softly. Whether there was any ounce of truth to those words at all was entirely her guess, but planting the idea had purpose for the outcome he hoped to have by night's end.
He grinned slightly at her overabundance of enthusiasm about this, allowing her to pull him straight up to the front of the line. "Why don't you take this one, love? Get a little practice in and all."
Once they were inside, Kol weaved his way through the crowd, pulling Vicki along with him. The music was loud and the bass was amped up so much he could practically feel it pumping through him. Finally, somewhere in the midst of the crowd, he stopped, letting go of her hand and turning to face her again, all smirky grins and wild eyes. The darkness of the club easily hid what she should have noticed, the black as coal eyes that were a dead giveaway that something was off. "Now, let me show you how to really have a good time, love!" One hand gestured about the crowd surrounding them. "I'll let you pick."
