She gave a playful pout at his words. "That'd just be mean. And you haven't been mean to me, so I don't believe you," Vicki replied, smiling again. When he agreed with her suggestion, Vicki walked after him willingly, slipping her hands into the pockets of her jeans while she settled into a comfortable pace. Absently she was thinking of what to fix for dinner the following night for Matt. She kind of wanted to make things up to him and right now, the only way to do that was to feed him, more or less.
When they arrived at the club a little later, Vicki smiled slowly, her eyes dancing with delight at all the people. For a moment she stopped, just to study them, then grabbed Kol's hand and headed for the front of the line, knowing that one of them, at least, could compel the bouncer to let them in.
