"Hey," he greeted in return, grinning slightly in return as she walked up. "I was starting to wonder if you were trying to stand me up," he teased, bumping her shoulder lightly with his own and chuckling softly at the idea. "So, do you have any place in mind or should I pick?" Because really, why bother with the small talk when they both knew what they were really meeting for. Straight to business so they could move onto the pleasure. Because oh there would be pleasure.
He started walking down the sidewalk, making sure she'd be following before he picked a pace to stick to. "Somewhere crowded, with a lot of people is best." he pointed out as he gave her time to think of somewhere to go. "And probably not somewhere any of our lot frequents much." That just had too much potential to end badly, on several levels. The last thing he needed was someone to get a hero complex over what was technically their nature.
