Ah, she must have been reading the posts while she was on the laptop. "Well, let's see. You just try and do what you normally do. I'm a bouncer at a bar, and up until recently I had a girlfriend." He shrugged slightly. He was fairly sure she'd be able to see the post about the flowers, but he really didn't feel like going into that story. "If you're the age when you're in school there's that. And then there's normal stuff, I guess."
He took a sip of his coffee. "A lot of what we're doing now is preparing. There's a fight brewing, a big one, and Lucifer's being a jackass to most of us at the moment. There's classes to take on how to protect yourself, there's things you can do to get ready. I mean, I'm going to an archery class tomorrow afternoon, which is not something I ever really imagined myself doing. But it helps. If you aren't doing stuff, even the boring stuff, then it gets kind of overwhelming."
