Olivia’s present state was worrisome for Amy. She wanted very badly to get the woman to a doctor before she passed out or worse. Amy pressed down the gas pedal slightly more, honking as a car pulled out in front of her. Still, she tried to keep the atmosphere inside of the car calm.
“Time travel is a weird thing.” She sighed. “I know it’s hard to believe, but it is 2013 presently. Then again, there’s nothing about this that isn’t hard to believe.”
“Yeah, Las Vegas is home. I actually lived in a suburb a little distance from the Strip which is the part tourists flock to. It was nice, except for the distinct lack of weather.” She smirked a little. It seemed like a stupid complaint, there being too much sun or too much heat, but it was one Amy genuinely had with the place.
