The first thing that came to Amy’s mind after seeing Olivia’s post was a sense of worry. It was never good when people showed up wounded, so it made sense to hurry her to the complex’s medbay. And all of that had been before Peter had told her he thought the woman was his mother. Judging by the way he’d been speaking he was pretty much certain. That added another degree of urgency to the whole matter.
Amy was out the door and to her bug as quickly as she could manage. She drove perhaps a little more recklessly than usual all in the name of getting to Olivia’s location more quickly. The bug pulled up to park by the curb and Amy was out on her feet again, looking around for the wounded woman she’d just spoken to minutes earlier.
“Olivia?” She narrowed her eyes slightly, looking through the small crowd of pedestrians.
