Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Who:An outlaw and a clone.
What:Talking, possibly smashing of some things nobody will miss.
When:night time.
Where:Outside the complex, and then who knows where?
Warnings:TBA!

Since the talk of Death had come up and so many interfered with his attempts to be useful, he felt nothing but anger. He knew they were upset with his ideas, but if it meant putting an end to the war shouldn't he at least try? He had been there longer than any of them combine and sometimes action had to be taken that was less than popular. And that train of thought made him flinch, made him feel as though he'd stepped into Jacen's shoes, and that did not help his bottled anger.

He really wasn't even sure where it all had come from. He'd been pretty good for a few weeks. No weird episodes, no mental break downs. Nothing. And then Death happened and all he saw was red. He could not even form his words into a coherent string of thought for anyone to really help him or make anyone really listen, he just felt violent. He knew that wasn't right, something was off after nobody else claimed to feel the same. So he left the internet and turned off the computer, ignoring the rest of the messages that came in and even turned off his phone.

There were some things he could talk to Clark about, but others that he needed an unbiased ear for. He felt Robin Hood was good for that. He didn't have to worry about the things he said around him, if he said something about Clark he didn't have to feel paranoid that it would hurt him. For all he knew, the things he told Robin were private. Robin didn't try to fix every problem he had either, some times he was just there and let him vent about the things that sucked around them. And often, Lawrence sucked.

He sat on the steps of the stairs that lead up to the complex, just needing to be outside.

It was easier lately, to listen to others and help them with their own worries and concerns. Mostly because he had finally managed to get a handle on his own most recent concerns. He was not free of the waking nightmares that plagued him, but when they did he knew now how to handle it. And for that he was indebted to Claire, and more than glad that he had finally told Marian, and shared it all with her.

He wasn't sure what it was that made such a simple friendship between he and Kon. Robin knew they both thought very differently on a lot of subjects, though they were able to agree on just as many, in the end. Kon was willing to talk to him, seemed to like his readiness to accept that sometimes, words couldn't fix a problem. Sometimes, despite his own declaration that everything is a choice, those choices seemed not to exist. He never would have thought he would enjoy something as trivial as playing video games, but then nothing about this place was normal. One thing he did know was that Kon listened to him, or at least seemed to, when he was troubled. And right now he obviously was. And Robin had never made a secret of the fact that he would do what he could for those in need.

Stepping outside he spotted Kon, looking lost in his thoughts. He sat beside him, forearms resting on his knees. He watched him in silence, waiting for the other to speak. One thing he knew, his friend would have something to say.

Kon wasn't phased by Robin's appearance. He could hear him coming long before he even reached the door, but that wasn't something he often told people. That sort of thing could be unnerving to some, and he really didn't want to lose friends because of it. He could hear their heart beats as Clark could, he could hear them from miles away. Some people would simply not have wanted to know. Krypto was near by, his white lab with the iconic red collar and house of El symbol dangling from it. The dog hesitated at Robin, unaware who the man was, he stared him down with an intensity that many dogs might not have had. Then went about his business as if he approved and wriggled his way back inside the complex. He could leave, Kon wouldn't be alone.

He was rarely alone, but it sometimes felt like even in a crowded room he was. However, today was not that day. Today in that building he felt more crowded than he ever had. He could hear people talking non stop, voices whispering about Death and the Horsemen. Fear over the apocalypse growing closer, and he couldn't block it out. Clark had been working with him since the day the sound shattered around him, but he still had some issues. Anger and control to name a few. "Couldn't stay in there. I can hear them all. It doesn't stop." He usually had head phones for that, but on days when he felt weaker they didn't help.

His eyes were naturally a blue color, almost piercingly so. Everything about him matched Clark, just smaller. "They're all talking all at once. I'm the one who broke the finger off of Pestilence and took his ring. I still can't unsee that face."
