Despite the fact that Cosima and Sarah didn't always get along, Sarah was actually really glad that Cosima was here. It had started to feel odd being alone again. She'd finally adjusted to the whole being a clone and having other look alikes around that when she'd been the only one here it had been strange to her. Though the other side of that was that Sarah being the only one from her world there meant she'd stuffed all of her issues and feelings over everything that had happened down inside herself and not really confronted them. Instead she'd fallen back into old habits, into the things she did when she ran from something. Said things were planning a grift with Kenzi. Sarah knew she shouldn't do it, but she really had reached her breaking point before she'd found herself in the middle of the Apocalypse. She'd wanted something to take her focus off of the pain and anger and confusion she felt. But now that Cosima was here, she couldn't really ignore any of that any longer.
After promising Cosima she'd be there in a few minutes, Sarah got up and headed out, stopping along the way to grab an amulet for Cosima. They weren't the prettiest things ever, but Sarah didn't want Cosima to get possessed on her first day here. Slipping it into the pocket of her jeans, Sarah made her way to the address Cosima had given her. The one thing she was thankful for was that Sarah had been here long enough that the bruising from the beating Helena had given her had largely healed. There was perhaps still faint yellow traces of the chain link-shaped bruises around her throat, but otherwise she'd healed so that Cosima wouldn't freak out about that appearance.
Turning a corner, Sarah spotted Cosima right away. It was hard to miss the dreadlocked woman. Sarah had a very complicated relationship with showing affection for people. While she did care about people, including Cosima, she had no real way of showing it. Affection wasn't exactly something she'd learned how to express so she was sometimes awkward when others wanted a hug or something. But she wasn't about to deny Cosima a hug because, well, Sarah herself could use one, she just never was one to ask for such things.
"Hey, Cos," she greeted as she walked up to her "twin," a bit of a lop-sided smile on her face as she braced herself to be hugged a moment later.
