“It isn’t supposed to happen under normal circumstances.” Allison sighed, adjusting the pack slung over her shoulder before elaborating. This was it, the big moment where she revealed everything. It would probably be followed by the woman thinking that Allison was 100% crazy and therefore unreliable. It was a pretty ridiculous notion. Nobody could be blamed for initially thinking it was all crazy-talk.

Unfortunately, we’re all stuck here until the Seal decides to send us back.” She practically held her breath waiting for the response, but pressed on before the woman could roll her eyes and walk on. “It’s dangerous here. You really should get to the free apartment complex. Free housing for anyone who gets pulled through and ensured safety. I know it’s crazy, believe me, but better safe than sorry, right?” Allison looked hopeful.
