The last thing Emily remembered was landing in Heathrow airport. She'd stepped off the plane and then she wasn't in an airport anymore. She'd been disoriented but then instinct kicked in and she'd looked for something to tell her where she was. She didn't expect to be in Kansas, and she certainly didn't expect for it to be 2013 instead of 2012.
She was still pondering things when she heard a woman speak. Her guard immediately went up. Years in Interpol and the FBI had certainly shown her the worst of humanity, and even though she tried to be trusting it was still an ingrained habit to be wary. "I am a little lost," she said.
