Danger. That word kept flashing in her head, telling her that being this close to Klaus all over again was going to lead to very bad things. Situations she should be pulling herself out of and not throwing herself into. He had hurt so many people that she cared for. Killed some of them. Killed countless others. She needed to remind herself of that, to remember that he was the bad guy. That he was supposed to be evil. But she’d been seeing him less and less as that for awhile now, even before she’d arrived in Lawrence really. Her friends may have come up with the perfect plan, having her distract him time and again whenever they needed him occupied, but how could none of them have seen what would happen by continuously shoving the two of them at one another?
