Katherine & Elijah
A feelsy meeting of feels?
Backdated, Saturday afternoon, July 20, 2013; A diner
TBD/In progress

You were there when I had no one, Elijah. Of course I love you.

Katherine had agreed to meet Elijah today at one of the smaller diners in town. She didn't know exactly what to expect, but she was going in with high hopes and wishful thinking. So far, their conversations had been mostly descent, far better than she had expected. He'd taken the news of the littlest Gilbert's death at her hands better than he would have thought. She was convinced, though, it was because he, personally, had not experienced that lie the same way as the Elijah back home had. But Katherine would take what she could get at this point.

She sat in the diner, having arrived early, waiting for him to show up. All she had wanted since arriving last night was some booze and apparently the Seal saw fit to make it all disappear. She could only imagine the toll that it was taking on all the addicts in this town. Although, she'd learned that coffee had been included in he Seal's shenanigans because the waitress had looked at her like she was crazy when she'd asked for it. She just had water instead.

There were so many things running through her mind at this point. She was painfully aware of the fact that she couldn't hear the way she had grown accustomed to in the last five centuries. No heartbeats, save her own pounding in her ears like a drum, no conversation from across the diner, nothing. It made her all the more paranoid. Nevermind the lack of strength, speed, agility... Elena had caused her to loose everything she had come to rely on through the years. She tried to push it out of her mind, turning her attention to the door, waiting to watch him walk through and spot her.
